 Overnight oatmeal is like regular oatmeal but put on the fridge for a night. Then, it will be ready for breakfast. If we do not like a bowl of cold oatmeal for breakfast, we can heat it on the microwave for a couple minutes.

Basically, we can make a bowl of overnight oatmeal with 1:1 formula which means one cup of oat is mixed with one cup of milk. The ratio of the milk and the oats should always be the same. The choice of oatmeal and the milk will depend on our choice. Whether we prefer quick or rolled oats will make any different. Then, any kind of milk can be used or we can just add water.


Additional Ingredients for flavor
We can make pina colada overnight oatmeal by adding half small banana, mashed. Then, we add two spoon crushed pineapple. After that, we put ¼ spoon of coconut extract. We also add one spoon of shredded coconut with unsweetened. The last one we put 1.4 tea spoon of maple syrup.

For German chocolate cake flavor in our overnight, we can use banana, pecans, cocoa powder, coconut extract and maple syrup. For one bowl of overnight oatmeal, we will need ½ small banana and we mash it. Then, we add one spoon chopped pecans. For cocoa powder, we also need a half tea spoon. 

The coconut extract which we need is only ¼ tea spoon. After that, we put ½ tea spoon of maple syrup.
After we put additional ingredient on the mixed oat and milk, we put it on the freeze for one night. If we use quick oats, we just need at least 30 minutes. But for rolled oats, we will need all night.
